Travelling the world is an ambition of many, but done by few. Many take holidays and short breaks abroad, though people from the UK mostly enjoy holidays close by in European countries, such as France, Spain and Italy, and do not get to see the cultures and places so very different from our own.

It is perfect for those with an ambition in acting as learning about other cultures and the world’s huge variety of people, as well as picking up other languages, allows you to understand many issues and cultures, so it will be easier to get acting roles that cross cultures.
Travelling the world can be done without immense cost, and backpacking is a very popular way to see everything, especially around Asia and South America, which are much more eye opening places than Europe or North America.
